Services and care for Wales’ most vulnerable are improving and are further supported by a dedicated agency for social services.
The Social Services Improvement Agency (SSIA) was unveiled at the second annual Social Services conference in Cardiff and is based within the WLGA. Councillor Meryl Gravell (Carmarthenshire) The WLGA Spokeswoman for Social Services, stated;
“The WLGA has been committed to driving forward the quality agenda for social services and as a result the people that need our services most are already seeing positive changes in their everyday lives.”
