Developing capacity for collaboration and change

The Assembly Government’s One Wales document suggests ‘a progressive agenda for Wales’ with ‘shared values, common goals and joint aspirations’ where the challenge for public services is to deliver continued improvements to local services under ‘the imperatives of efficiency and citizen-centred services’.

This conference seeks to provide opportunities for professionals from across public services to discuss the skills and capacity challenges of an agenda that is driving increased collaboration and constant change.

Key note presentations will focus on the themes of organisational development and talent management. Presentations will include Professor Lynette Harris sharing her findings from recent CIPD research into Talent Management and Dr Pat Oakley, organisational and management development specialist, providing context for the following workshops:
