The Welsh Assembly Government has commissioned a review of the financing arrangements for council housing, which is due to conclude in 2010. The WLGA is a member of the Review Steering Group and is seeking an outcome that will ensure that authorities in Wales are given the same opportunities to operate sustainable housing businesses as authorities in England.
The WLGA has agreed thirteen principal positions.
