Local government’s ‘show’ programme is designed to promote the collaborative approach aimed at improving services across rural Wales and includes public receptions and exhibitions highlighting local practice.

Tourism information will be on display from Powys County Council and this year’s Royal Welsh host authorities - Denbighshire, Conwy, Flintshire and Wrexham. Also, there will be a range of children’s activities, food demonstrations promoting ‘Powys on a plate’ and performances from Theatr Powys.

The Local Government Pavilion is being hosted by the Welsh Local Government Association in association with Powys County Council. Denbighshire, Conwy, Flintshire and Wrexham Councils will also be joining together in the Pavilion as host counties for the 2008 Royal Welsh Agricultural Show.

The Local Government Pavilion is located on Avenue E, Plot 395 on the Royal Welsh Showground (opposite the NFU building).
