Partner Searches

The WLGA European Office regularly receives partner search enquiries from our colleagues across Europe. These enquiries involve a whole range of policy areas, such as education, culture, health, research and innovation. Listed below are the latest partner search enquiries, which may be of interest to local authorities in Wales. Should you be interested in any project proposals or require further information then please get in touch with the relevant contact person for each enquiry. Policy Area: Comenius Partnership

Description: Four primary schools in the city of Mölndal, West Sweden are looking for schools interested in co-operation within Comenius partnership. The schools are looking to co-operate on different issues, for example, one school is looking to form a partnership with the aim of improving the teaching of first language skills. Project title: Public Health Partner Search

Lead Partner: Molndal and Vara, Sweden

Policy area: Ambient Assisted Living

Description: The cities of Molndal and Vara in western Sweden are looking for partners to take part in projects within the Ambient Assisted Living programme. Project title:  Learning by doing international projects

Lead partner: Borlänge Municipality, Sweden

Policy Area: Europe for Citizens

Description: Borlänge Municipality is looking to learn about international projects and other EU municipalities. They are looking to set up shared activities, one in Brussels and one in Sweden which will be about how to create projects with international partners with EU funding. Policy area: Leonardo Programme

Description: A vocational school in the Pays de la Loire region in France is looking for partners to take part in a Leonardo Mobility project. The school would like to work with other vocational institutions to develop mobility projects for students focusing on food product sales and good communication skills with customers. Project title: Social Affairs Partner Search

Lead Partner: Akademi Norr, Sweden

Policy area: European Social Fund

Description: The educational network Akademi Norr in northern Sweden is looking for partners to take part in a project within the European Social Fund. The project, entitled 'Integration of immigrants and refugees in small municipalities', aims to develop individual skills and broaden the roles of civil servants working with newly arrived people.
