Clean, Safe and Well Managed Streets
Maintaining a quality local environment is a key function of a local authority in the eyes of local people. Clean, safe and pleasant streets, attractive open spaces, well-maintained signs and street furniture are all seen as important. They contribute to a high quality and sound reputation for communities.
