The Notable Practice database includes case-study examples written to demonstrate one or more of the five key features of a health improving local authority (see below). The case-studies have been prepared by council’s themselves, as examples of approaches and practice that work locally and could have relevance and potential for consideration elsewhere. They are examples of things that are either transferable, novel/innovative or established/proven.
