Networks

The Health & Well being team facilitate a single all Wales and three regional networks for the Health, Social Care and Well-being Strategy Co-ordinators. The regional networks mirror those for the NHS Regional Offices – South East (nine partnerships), Mid and West (seven partnerships) and North Wales (six partnerships). These meet quarterly and the all Wales network meets as needs arise or through association with other events.

The networks allow the sharing of approaches and notable practise emerging both in terms of HSCWB strategy formulation and partnership working, as well as presenting a forum for communicating around national policy. Connections have been made between the HSCWB Network and that of the WCVA Health and Social Care Facilitators and that for the Health Alliance Co-ordinators.

As part of the ongoing support for HSCWB development and implementation, a special meeting of the All-Wales HSCWB Co-ordinators Network was held on the 17th April to allow some collective thought and targeted support following the publication of the revised strategy guidance.  The presentations given on that day can be accessed here.
