The Independent Remuneration Panel for Wales
The Independent Remuneration Panel for Wales is an independent body set up under regulations made by the National Assembly for Wales in March 2007.
The Panel’s role is to undertake a fundamental and ongoing review of the type and level of allowances available to county and county borough councillors in Wales.
