The WLGA will be submitting an opfficial response to this consultation which will be informed by your views. The closing date for comments is May 20th.
The briefing outlines the proposals made by the Home Office, how the system would work in practice and implications for local government.
To ensure there is full debate on this important policy area the WLGA, in partnership with the Welsh Assembly Government and the Welsh Consortium for Refugees and Asylum Seekers, have arranged a briefing session for elected members and directors.
