Learning Exchange 2010: Wales – A Great Place to Grow Old?

In February 2010, the WLGA held a learning exchange in Cwmbrân titled ‘Wales – A great place to grow old?’. The event was well attended by over 140 colleagues from across Wales including Gwenda Thomas AM, Deputy Minister for Social Services, Ruth Marks, the Older People’s Commissioner for Wales and Cllr Arnold Woolley, WLGA Spokesperson for Older People.

The purpose of the day was to share practice and discuss key issues. Twelve workshops were held and summaries of each workshop can be found in the attached document below. Each summary includes weblinks and contact details for those responsible for each workshop, feel free to contact them for further information.

The WLGA plans to hold a similar event in Spring 2011.
