Modernisation of EU Public Procurement Policy
In April 2011, the WLGA responded to the European Commission consultation on the modernisation of EU public procurement policy. The consultation, published in January 2011, launched a public debate on how legislation could be updated to help public procurers cope with the challenges of high public deficits:
