The remit of this group is:
- To provide a forum for discussion on curriculum delivery and assessment issues;
- To share best practice and develop consistent approaches;
- To develop professional expertise of advisory services across Wales; and
- To receive information from, and provide feedback to, national bodies e.g. WAG, ACCAC, ESTYN etc. (It is noted that such submissions will be via the ADEW Inclusion sub-group).

NAPEP (National Association of Principal Education Psychologists) Wales

NAPEP(W) discusses matters of professional training, practice and service delivery, serving the functions of: mutual support, information sharing, raising awareness and the coordination and development of a Welsh educational psychology perspective on key matters relating to the education and development of children and young people.
NAPEP aims to make a positive impact on the quality of the management and delivery of LEA Psychological Services by:
- Bringing together the Heads of LEA Psychological Services at both national and regional levels to discuss in depth matters of mutual interest and to provide opportunities for Principal Educational Psychologists to develop their professional skills.
- Developing and encouraging regional meetings amongst Principal Educational Psychologists for professional discussion and mutual support.
- Sharing concerns and relating to the provision and the organisational aspects of LEA Psychological Services.
- Disseminating information and good practice amongst Principal Educational Psychologists.
- Carrying out such other activities as the membership may decide to be appropriate.
