There is increasing recognition that a failure to meet housing need in Wales will have significant impact on our ability to address important policy areas including social inclusion, social justice, health and well being, community safety, regeneration, educational achievement and economic prosperity. An adequate supply of good quality affordable housing is therefore fundamental to achieving a wide range of Welsh Government, Local Government and community priorities and improved outcomes.
