Following the formal launch at ‘Connect-for-Health’ 2007 in Cardiff in May three regional workshops, designed specifically for key players and to make the resource more sustainable, took place at the following venues:
- 23rd June at City Hall, Cardiff
- 27th June at Liberty Stadium, Swansea
- 28th June at the Talardy Hotel, St. Asaph
The presentations below formed part of the three sessions focussing on how best to employ the ‘Route’ within different authorities and included input from the National Public Health Service.
Each session offered delegates the opportunity to discuss several key ‘planning’ and ‘support’ issues regarding building ownership and employing the ‘Route’ back in their local authorities. The response was very positive and the results will be used to set the foundations to roll out the ‘Route’ and shape the wider ‘Route to HI’ work programme.
