This Network has been established as a supportive mechanism through which Equalities Officers and those with a responsibility for equality from local authorities in Wales can meet, share information and examples of good practice and be kept updated on a range of equality issues and initiatives. Meetings of the Network will be organised and serviced by the WLGA.

The WLGA has established an online 'community' for members of this network, which will provide them with the opportunity to share good practice examples or strategies in relation to the equalities agenda and to seek advice and guidance form their peers on equality related matters.
