WLGA Equalities Briefings
Following a training needs analysis for Elected Members in Welsh Local Government, carried out in 2005 it was identified that Members would welcome greater communication and briefings on Equality matters, particularly in relation to current and developing legislation. In reply to this the Welsh Local Government Association’s Equalities and Social Justice Team is pleased to launch its first Equalities Briefing, aimed specifically at Elected Members. Feedback on the usefulness of the briefings would be very much appreciated, together with any particular issues you would like to see included in them.
