Our transport systems play a vital role as the life blood of our communities, allowing people and goods to move freely and enabling social justice and inclusion by helping people across Wales to access services and opportunities. However, transport also has a significant impact on our environment. Sustainable transport principles aim to develop transport systems which cut carbon emissions whist improving the quality of life for people across Wales.
