The WLGA European Office regularly receives partner search enquiries from our colleagues across Europe. These enquiries involve a whole range of policy areas, such as education, culture, health, research and innovation. Listed below are the latest partner search enquiries, which may be of interest to local authorities in Wales. Should you be interested in any project proposals or require further information then please get in touch with the relevant contact person for each enquiry. Project title: Social Affairs Partner Search

Lead partner: Andalucia, Spain

Policy area: European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals

Description: A transnational consortium of Spanish, French, Italian and Greek organisations is looking for partners to take part in two projects within the European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals. The aim of the projects is to compare, design and implement paths of urban governance regarding social and labour integration of migrants.

  1. The main priorities of the project are to enhance diversity management and integration measures. Further information may be found here (Word document).
  2. The main priorities of the second project is to enhance diversity management in neighbourhoods and to enhance immigrants' participation in all aspects of life. This project is for 18 months. Further information may be found here (Word document).

Project title: Education and Social Affairs Partner Search

Lead partner: Mölndal, Sweden

Policy area: Comenius Programme

Description: The Almasskolen secondary school together with the Childcare and Education Department in Mölndal, West Sweden, is looking for partners interested in participating in a 2-year project within the Comenius programme. The Almasskolen school would like to work with other secondary schools, preferably located in multicultural areas. Project title: Gender policies and violence prevention

Description: The Directorate General for Gender-based Violence Prevention, Youth Affairs and Juvenile Crime of the Region of Murcia is looking for partners interested in sharing experiences about rehabilitation of perpetrators of violence against women as well as working towards developing strategies to prevent violence against women, and improving victim safety management. Description: IES Maria Rosa Alonso, a secondary school located in Santa Cruz is looking for partners interested in taking part in a project within the framework of the Comenius programme. IES Maria Rosa Alonso would like to work with students aged between 16 and 25. The project is focused on nutrition and healthy eating. Project title: "Health and Longevity with Ayurveda and Yoga"

Description: The European University Cyprus is looking for partners interested in taking part in a project within the framework of the Grundtvig programme. The aim of the programme is to collect and share knowledge and experiences regarding the traditions of Ayurveda and yoga and how these practices can be integrated into everyday life. Policy area: Comenius Partnership Project

Description: Skarpengland lower secondary school in Ovrebo, South Norway is looking for partners to take part in a project within the framework of the Comenius programme. The target group is pupils aged 13-14. The project will focus on how participating schools could increase pupil's motivation for learning. Emphasis will also be put on the integration of pupils with special needs. Project title: Healthy Life, Happy Life

Policy area: Comenius Multilateral Programme

Description: The El Salvador Primary School situated in the Region of Murcia, Spain is looking for partners interested in participating in a project within the framework of the Comenius Multilateral Programme. The aim of the project is to promote healthy lifestyles amongst the pupils, parents and staff of all the schools in the partnership. During the project, pupils will exchange recipes and foods and eventually project a 'Kids Cookery Book'. They will also explore healthy foods from their local area as well as discussing other issues such as sun and road safety, the dangers of drugs and alcohol and Internet safety.
