The Citizenship Foundation is an independent charity which aims to empower individuals to engage in the wider community through education about the law, democracy and society.
The Foundation is managed by a Board of Trustees and is dedicated to the advancement and promotion of all aspects of education and training which are likely to promote "character development" and "citizenship”.
'Making the Connections' contains a framework for the practical implementation of the Assembly Governments vision for 'Citizen Centred’ public service delivery. The dimensions of the framework are:
- democratic accountability
- front-line access and support
- responsive services
- community participation
