In March 2011 the Welsh Local Government Association and NHS Centre for Equality and Human Rights launched a new training programme for equality practitioners.
The Change Management for Equality Practitioners Programme is made up of 8 learning days held over a 10 month period and aims to provide participants with a better understanding and practical application of organisation development, change management, innovation and services improvement.
At the end of the programme participants will have developed their role as an agent for change, having enhanced their knowledge, skills, behaviours and qualities to help them to deliver whole system approaches to change and to be instrumental in supporting the transformational changes required to meet the future needs of public services in Wales.
