A review of public sector delivery in Wales
Arguably the most fundamental review of the public sector in Wales for a decade.
The WLGA has made several representations to the committee and for health, social care and well-being issues provided a set of emerging key messages. The committee will report in June 2006 and will amongst many issues, set out recommendations for the future role and functions of public sector agencies, including Local Health Boards.
WLGA and representatives from Chairs of LHBs are meeting the Beecham committee on the 9th of December to provide early key messages on our experiences.
