The PwC report on ‘Sustainability Reporting and Accounting’ provides a summary of the current position for local authorities on sustainable decision-making. It explains the business case for incorporating sustainable development principles into financial accounting and reporting.
The WLGA is continuing to work with the PwC, the Welsh Assembly Government, ACCA and CIPFA to inform and advise on the growth of and the need for change in reporting systems that reflect sustainable development.’
